أَ لَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلى‏ سِلَاحٍ يُنْجِيكُمْ مِنْ أَعْدَائِكُمْ، وَ يُدِرُّ أَرْزَاقَكُمْ؟ قَالُوا: بَلى‏، قَالَ: تَدْعُونَ رَبَّكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ وَ النَّهَارِ؛ فَإِنَّ سِلَاحَ الْمُؤْمِنِ الدُّعَاءُ.
The Prophet Muhammad (S):
The Prophet (s) said, 'Shall I guide you to a weapon that will save you from your enemies and yield abundant sustenance?' They said: 'Yes, Messenger of Allah, do guide us.' The Prophet (s) said: 'Supplicate to your Lord in the morning and the evening; for verily the weapon of the believer is supplication.'
