Today in Ramadhan (17) - The Battle of Badr.

On such a day, the battle of Badr which is the first encounter between Muslims and the polytheists took place.
It is also said that the ascension of the Prophet occurred on this night.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

مَا مِنْ‏ شَيْ‏ءٍ إِلَّا وَ لَهُ حَدٌّ يَنْتَهِي إِلَيْهِ إِلَّا الذِّكْرَ، فَلَيْسَ لَهُ حَدٌّ يَنْتَهِي إِلَيْهِ.

Everything has a limit at which it ceases except for God's remembrance for there is no ending limit for the remembrance of God.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

إِنَّ مِنْ شَرِّ عِبَادِ اللَّهِ مَنْ تُكْرَهُ‏ مُجَالَسَتُهُ لِفُحْشِهِ.

Among the most evil servants of Allah are those whose company is abhorred [by people] because of their obscenity.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

لَا غِنى‏ أَخْصَبُ مِنَ الْعَقْلِ، وَ لَا فَقْرَ أَحَطُّ مِنَ الْحُمْقِ.

There is no wealth more productive than the intellect and no poverty lower than stupidity.

إذا هَمَّ أحَدُكُم بِخَيرٍ أو صِلَةٍ فإنَّ عَن يَمينِهِ و شِمالِهِ شَيطانَينِ، فلْيُبادِرْ لا يَكُفّاهُ عَن ذلكَ .

اِعلَمُوا أنّهُ لَيسَ يُغني عنكُم مِنَ اللّهِ أحَدٌ مِن خَلقِهِ شَيئا ، لا مَلَكٌ مُقَرَّبٌ ، و لا نَبِيٌّ مُرسَلٌ، و لا مَن دُونَ ذلكَ ، فَمَن سَرَّهُ أن تَنفَعَهُ شَفاعةُ الشافِعِينَ عندَ اللّهِ فَليَطلُبْ إلى اللّهِ أن يَرضى عَنهُ .
