رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
لا تَجْلِسوا إلّا عندَ كُلِّ عالِمٍ يَدْعوكُم مِن خَمْسٍ إلى خَمسٍ: مِن الشَّكِّ إلى اليَقينِ، وَ مِن الرِّياءِ إلى الإخْلاصِ، وَ مِن الرَّغْبَةِ إلى الرَّهبَةِ، وَ مِن الكِبْرِ إلى التّواضُعِ، وَ مِن الغِشِّ إلى النّصيحَةِ.
Ne vous asseyez qu auprès du savant qui vous appelle à abandonner cinq choses pour en adopter cinq autres: le doute pour la certitude, 1 hypocrisie pour la sincérité, le désir [de ce monde] pour la crainte révérencielle [d Allah], l arrogance pour l humilité, et la tromperie pour le bon conseil.
