Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

أيُّما مُؤمِنٍ نَفَّسَ عَن مُؤمِنٍ كُربَةً و هُو مُعسِرٌ يَسَّرَ اللّهُ لَهُ حَوائجَهُ في الدُّنيا و الآخِرَةِ.

إِذَا رَأَيْتُمُ الْعَبْدَ يَتَفَقَّدُ الذُّنُوبَ مِنَ النَّاسِ نَاسِياً لِذَنْبِهِ فَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ قَدْ مُكِرَ بِهِ .

When you see someone inspecting other people’s sins while forgetting his own sins, then know that he is being plodded against.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

لا تَدَعْ قِيامَ اللَّيلِ، فإنَّ المَغبونَ مَن غُبِنَ قِيامَ اللَّيلِ.

Do not leave the night prayer, for verily the one who is truly in loss is the one who has lost out on the night prayer.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

يَا شِيعَةَ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، اعْلَمُوا أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَمْلِكْ نَفْسَهُ عِنْدَ غَضَبِهِ.

التَّفَكُّرُ حَيَاةُ قَلْبِ الْبَصِيرِ، كَمَا يَمْشِي الْمَاشِي فِي الظُّلُمَاتِ بِالنُّورِ بِحُسْنِ التَّخَلُّصِ وَ قِلَّةِ التَّرَبُّصِ.
