Imam al-Kazim (as): Verily Allah has a caller [amongst His angels] who calls out every day and night: ‘Slow down, O servants of Allah, and abstain from acts of disobedience to Allah, for were it not for the grazing animals, suckling babies and the elderly who bow down to Allah, punishment would surely pour down on you.' al-Kāfī
