Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as): Imam al-Sadiq (as) with regard to the verse of Allah, ‘So when it reaches the throat [of the dying person], and at that moment you are looking on [at his bedside], and Our angels are nearer to him than you, but you do not see - Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, bring it back, if you should be truthful?’ said, 'When it reaches the throat of the dying person and then he shown his place in Paradise, he says, 'Take me back to the world so I can inform my family of what I see.' Then it will be said to him, 'There is no way for this to happen.' al-Kāfī
