Imam al-Sajjad (as): The right of your child is that you should know that you are responsible for what has been assigned to you regarding him, that is teaching him good manners, guiding him towards his Lord, and helping him in His obedience, so deal with him like the one who knows that he will be rewarded for doing good to him, and punished for mistreating him.
