The Prophet Muhammad (S): The Prophet once asked his companions, ‘Shall I inform you who amongst you resemble me the most?’ They replied, ‘Yes O Messenger of Allah.' He then said, ‘They are those who are the best of you in character, the most lenient of you in their treatment of others, the kindest of you to their near ones, the most loving of you towards their fellow brothers, the most patient of you with the truth, those who are the best in restraining their anger and pardoning others, and the ones who best maintain fairness when pleased or angered.' al-Kāfī
