يا بُنَيَّ، ثِقْ باللّهِ عَزَّوجلَّ ثُمّ سَلْ في النّاسِ: هَل مِن أحَدٍ وَثِقَ باللّهِ فلَم يُنجِهِ؟! يا بُنَيَّ، تَوَكَّلْ علَى اللّهِ ثُمّ سَلْ في النّاسِ: مَن ذا الّذي تَوَكَّلَ علَى اللّهِ فلَم يَكفِهِ؟!
Oh hijo mío, confía en Dios Todopoderoso, y luego pregúntale a la gente! ¿Hubo alguien que pusiera su confianza en Dios y no fuese salvado por Él? ¡Oh hijo mío, confía en Dios, luego pregunta a la gente! ¿Quién puso su confianza en Dios y no estuvo satisfecho?
