الامام الحسین (علیه السلام):
اعلَموا أنَّ المَعروفَ مُكِسبٌ حَمدا، ومُعقِبٌ أجرا، فلَو رَأيتُمُ المَعروفَ رَجُلًا لَرَأيتُموهُ حَسَنا جَميلًا يَسُرُّ النّاظِرينَ ويَفوقُ العالَمينَ، ولَو رَأيتُمُ اللُّؤمَ رَأيتُموهُ سَمِجا قَبيحا مَشوما تَنفِرُ مِنهُ القُلوبُ وتُغَضُّ دُونَهُ الأبصار
بدانيد كه خوبى كردن، ستايش به بار مى آورد و پاداش در پى دارد. اگر خوبى را به صورت مردى ببينيد هر آينه آن را نيكو و زيبا و خوشايند و برتر از همه جهانيان خواهيد ديد و اگر پستى را ببينيد آن را ناهنجار و زشت و بد منظر كه دلها از آن مى گريزد و چشمها به رويش بسته مى شود، خواهيد ديد.
