رُبّما كانَ الدَّواءُ داءً وَ الدّاءُ دواءً.

It is possible for a medicine to be an ailment and an ailment to be a medicine.

بِالعَدلِ تَصلُحُ الرَّعِيَّةُ

The masses behave righteously through justice.

خيرُ الإخْوانِ مَن كانتْ في اللّهِ مَودّتُهُ.

The best of brothers is the one whose amity is for the sake of Allah.

مَن أبطَأ بِهِ عَمَلُهُ، لَم يُسرِعْ بِه نَسَبُهُ (حَسَبُه).

He who lags behind as a result of his deeds will not be accorded a front position because of his lineage.

ماضي يَومِكَ فائتٌ، و آتيهِ مُتَّهَمٌ، و وَقتُكَ مُغتَنَمٌ.

Your yesterday has passed on, your tomorrow is uncertain, and your today is to be taken advantage of.

مُجالَسَةُ أهلِ الهَوى مَنساهٌ للإيمانِ ومَحضَرَةٌ للشَّيطانِ.

Sitting with people of base desires causes heedlessness of one's faith, and invites Satan thereat.
