الإمام محمد الباقر (عليه السَّلام):
إنّ أهلَ التَّقوى أيسَرُ أهلِ الدُّنيامَؤونَةً، وأكثَرُهُم لكَ مَعونَةً، تَذكُرُ فيُعِينونَكَ، وإن نَسِيتَ ذَكَّروكَ، قَوّالُونَ بأمرِ اللّهِ، قَوّامُونَ على أمرِ اللّهِ، قَطَعوا مَحَبَّتَهُم بمَحَبَّةِ رَبِّهِم، ووَحَّشوا الدُّنيا لِطاعَةِ مَليكِهِم، ونَظَروا إلَى اللّهِ عَزَّوجلَّ وإلى مَحَبَّتِهِ بِقُلوبِهِم، وعَلِموا أنّ ذلكَ هُو المَنظورُ إلَيهِ، لِعَظيمِ شَأنِهِ.
Les gens qui craignent Allah sont ceux dont les dépenses dans ce monde sont les moindres et qui t aident le plus. Il suffit que tu le mentionnes et ils t aident, et si tu oublies [d exprimer tes besoins], ils te le rappellent. Ils informent sans cesse au sujet des commandements d Allah et établissent en permanence l ordre d Allah. Ils ont abandonné tout autre amour pour [se consacrer] à l amour de leur Seigneur, et ils ont déserté la vie d ici-bas pour obéir à leur Souverain. Ils regardent Allah le Tout-Puissant et Son amour avec leurs coeurs, et ils savent que c est Lui qui est le but ultime du fait de l éminence de Son rang.

Abū Jaʿfar, Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq al-Kulaynī Al-Rāzī (Arabic: ابوجعفر، محمّد بن یعقوب بن اسحاق الرازی) (c. 255/868-9 - 329/941) was among the greatest Shi'a hadith scholars and the author of al-Kafi, the most authentic Shi'a hadith collection and one the Four Books. He was born after the martyrdom of Imam al-'Askari (a), at the time of Imam al-Mahdi (a) and met some hadith transmitters who directly had heard hadiths from Imam al-Hadi (a) and Imam al-'Askari (a). It is said that al-Kulayni was very accurate in transmitting hadiths. Ibn Qulawayh, Muhammad b. Ali Majilawayh al-Qummi, Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Zurari were among his students.
