رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
تَهادَوا ؛ فإنَّ الهَدِيَّةَ تَسِلُّ السَّخائمَ ، و تُجلي ضَغائنَ العَداوَةِ وَ الأحقادِ .
The Prophet Muhammad (S):
Give gifts to each other, for it clears away resentment, and removes grudges caused by animosity and hatred.

الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
إنّ اللّهَ عَزَّ و جلَّ يُبغِضُ كَثرَةَ النَّومِ ، و كَثرَةَ الفَراغِ .

Verily Allah despises too much sleep and too much idleness.

يا عبدَ اللّهِ، أحْبِب في اللّهِ، وأبغِضْ في اللّهِ، و والِ في اللّهِ، و عادِ في اللّهِ، فإنَّهُ لا تُنالُ وَلايةُ اللّهِ إلّا بذلكَ
The Prophet Muhammad (S):
O servant of Allah! Love for the sake of Allah and hate for the sake of Allah, and befriend for the sake of Allah and contest for the sake of Allah, for Allah s guardianship is attained only by that.

يَسِّروا وَلا تُعَسِّروا، وَسَكِّنواوَلا تُنَفِّروا.

الإمام محمد الباقر (عليه السَّلام):
قُولوا للناسِ أحسَنَ ما تُحِبُّونَ أن يُقالَ لَكُم؛ فإنَّ اللّهَ يُبغِضُ اللَّعّانَ السَّبّابَ الطَّعّانَ علَى المؤمنينَ، الفاحِشَ المُتَفَحِّشَ، السائلَ المُلحِفَ.
Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
Say unto people the best of what you would like them to say to you, for Allah hates the curser, swearer, and slanderer of believers, the user of obscene language and to do it shamelessly, and the importunate beggar.
