Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

. إِذَا تَخَلَّى الْمُؤْمِنُ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا سَمَا وَ وَجَدَ حَلَاوَةَ حُبِّ اللَّه‏

When the believer relinquishes this world, he is elevated and finds the sweet taste of Allah's love.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

إنّ اللّهَ عَزَّ و جلَّ لَيَرحَمُ العَبدَ لِشِدَّةِ حُبِّهِ لِوَلَدِهِ .

Verily Allah, Mighty and Exalted, has mercy on a servant because of his strong love for his child.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

ما بَعَثَ اللّهُ عَزَّ و جلَّ نَبيّا إلاّ حَسَنَ الصَّوتِ.

Allah has never sent a prophet without sending him with a pleasant voice.

ذِكْرُ الْمَوْتِ يُمِيتُ الشَّهَوَاتِ فِي النَّفْسِ وَ يَقْلَعُ مَنَابِتَ الْغَفْلَةِ وَ يُقَوِّي الْقَلْبَ بِمَوَاعِدِ اللَّهِ وَ يُرِقُّ الطَّبْعَ وَ يَكْسِرُ أَعْلَامَ الْهَوَى‏ .

The remembrance of death kills [vain] desires in the self, uproots the sources of heedlessness, reassures the heart about Allah’s promises, ...

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

كانَ أبي يَقولُ: إذا هَمَمتَ‏ بِخَيرٍ فبادِرْ؛ فإنَّكَ لا تَدري ما يَحدُثُ.

My father used to say, 'When you intend to do a good thing, then hasten to undertake it for you do not know what will happen.'

إِنَّ مِنْ حَقِّ الْمُؤْمِنِ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِ الْمَوَدَّةَ لَهُ فِي صَدْرِهِ، وَ الْمُؤَاسَاةَ لَهُ فِي مَالِهِ، وَ الْخَلَفَ لَهُ فِي أَهْلِهِ، وَ النُّصْرَةَ لَهُ عَلى‏ مَنْ ظَلَمَهُ.
