Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

السَّخَاءُ مِنْ أَخْلَاقِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَ هُوَ عِمَادُ الْإِيمَان‏ .

Generosity is one of the noble traits of the prophets and is the pillar of belief.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه و آله: إِنَّ اللَّهَ- عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- يَقُولُ: تَذَاكُرُ الْعِلْمِ‏ بَيْنَ عِبَادِي مِمَّا تَحْيَا عَلَيْهِ‏ الْقُلُوبُ الْمَيْتَةُ إِذَا هُمُ انْتَهَوْا فِيهِ إِلى‏ أَمْرِي.

Allah Almighty says, 'The discussion of knowledge among My servants revives the dead hearts if, by it, they seek to fulfil My command.'

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

يَا مُيَسِّرُ، ادْعُ، وَ لَاتَقُلْ: إِنَّ الْأَمْرَ قَدْ فُرِغَ مِنْهُ؛ إِنَّ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ- عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ- مَنْزِلَةً لَاتُنَالُ إِلَّا بِمَسْأَلَةٍ ، وَ لَوْ أَنَّ عَبْداً سَدَّ فَاهُ وَ لَمْ يَسْأَلْ، لَمْ يُعْطَ شَيْئاً؛ فَسَلْ‏ تُعْطَ. يَا مُيَسِّرُ، إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ بَابٍ يُقْرَعُ إِلَّا يُوشِكُ أَنْ يُفْتَحَ‏ لِصَاحِبِهِ‏.
