اعْلَمْ أَنَّكَ سَتُسْأَلُ غَداً إِذَا وَقَفْتَ بَيْنَ يَدَيِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ عَنْ أَرْبَعٍ: شَبَابِكَ فِيمَا أَبْلَيْتَهُ؟ وَ عُمُرِكَ فِيمَا أَفْنَيْتَهُ؟ وَ مَالِكَ مِمَّا اكْتَسَبْتَهُ‏ وَ فِيمَا أَنْفَقْتَهُ؟ فَتَأَهَّبْ لِذلِكَ، وَ أَعِدَّ لَهُ جَوَاباً.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):

Know that when you stand before Allah [on the day of Judgment], you will be questioned about four things: Your youth and how you exhausted it, your lifetime and how you spent it, your wealth, whence you earned it, and how you spent it. So get ready for that day and prepare answers for these questions.
