Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

مَن كانَ يُؤمنُ باللّهِ و اليومِ الآخِرِ فلا يَسْتعمِلَنَّ أجيرا حتّى يُعلِمَه ما أجرُهُ .

Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day must not use the service of a worker unless he informs him of the amount of his wage first.

إِنَّمَا یُؤْمَرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ یُنْهَی عَنِ الْمُنْکَرِ مُؤْمِنٌ فَیَتَّعِظُ أَوْ جَاهِلٌ فَیَتَعَلَّمُ وَ أَمَّا صَاحِبُ سَوْطٍ وَ سَیْفٍ فَلَا.
