الإمام الحسن (عليه السَّلام):
وقد سُئلَ عن الجُبن: الجُرأةُ على الصَّديقِ، وَ النُّكُولُ عَن العَدُوِّ.
Interrogé au sujet de la lâcheté, l Imam Hasan (as) a dit: C est l agressivité envers l ami et la fuite face à l ennemi.

There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
