رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
لا يَمرَضُ مؤمنٌ ولا مؤمنةٌ ولا مسلمٌ ولا مسلمةٌ إلّا حَطَّ اللّهُ بهِ خَطيئتَهُ.
No believer and Muslim - man or woman - fall sick except that Allah will wipe out their sins [in proportion to the severity of their sickness].
