الإمام محمد الباقر (عليه السَّلام):
إنّ أهلَ التَّقوى أيسَرُ أهلِ الدُّنيا مَؤونَةً ، و أكثَرُهُم لكَ مَعونَةً ، تَذكُرُ فيُعِينونَكَ ، و إن نَسِيتَ ذَكَّروكَ ، قَوّالُونَ بأمرِ اللّهِ ، قَوّامُونَ على أمرِ اللّهِ ، قَطَعوا مَحَبَّتَهُم بمَحَبَّةِ رَبِّهِم ، و وَحَّشوا الدُّنيا لِطاعَةِ مَليكِهِم ، و نَظَروا إلَى اللّهِ عَزَّ و جلَّ و إلى مَحَبَّتِهِ بِقُلوبِهِم ، و عَلِموا أنّ ذلكَ هُو المَنظورُ إلَيهِ ، لِعَظيمِ شَأنِهِ .
The God-wary people have the simplest of expenditures in this world, but are the most helpful to you with their provisions, you only have to mention and they help you, and if you forget [your needs] they remind you. They inform of Allah's commands, are guardians over Allah's commands, they have confined their love to loving their Lord. They feel estranged in the world in obedience to their Lord; they look at Allah and His love with their hearts, and they know that He is the ultimate goal because of the magnitude of His Rank.

Abū Jaʿfar, Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq al-Kulaynī Al-Rāzī (Arabic: ابوجعفر، محمّد بن یعقوب بن اسحاق الرازی) (c. 255/868-9 - 329/941) was among the greatest Shi'a hadith scholars and the author of al-Kafi, the most authentic Shi'a hadith collection and one the Four Books. He was born after the martyrdom of Imam al-'Askari (a), at the time of Imam al-Mahdi (a) and met some hadith transmitters who directly had heard hadiths from Imam al-Hadi (a) and Imam al-'Askari (a). It is said that al-Kulayni was very accurate in transmitting hadiths. Ibn Qulawayh, Muhammad b. Ali Majilawayh al-Qummi, Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Zurari were among his students.
