اَلْقُلُوبُ إِذَا لَمْ تَخْرِقْهَا اَلشَّهَوَاتُ أَوْ يُدَنِّسْهَا اَلطَّمَعُ أَوْ يُقْسِهَا اَلنَّعِيمُ فَسَوْفَ تَكُونُ أَوْعِيَةَ اَلْحِكْمَةِ
:
"Jesus (PBUH) said: As long as hearts do not become torn apart by desires, stained by greed and hardened by material goods, they will become vessels of deep wisdom."

"Jesus (RBUH) said: Blessed is he who abandons his current desires for a promise that cannot be seen."

الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
وقال عليه السلام في بعض الاَعيَاد: إِنَّمَا هُوَ عِيدٌ لِمَنْ قَبلَ اللهُ صِيَامَهُ وَشَكَرَ قِيَامَهُ، وَكُلُّ يَوْمٍ لاَ يُعْصَى اللهُ فِيهِ فَهُوَ يَوْمَ عِيدٍ
Imam Ali (as):
Imam Ali (AS) said regarding one of the festivals, ‘Verily it is only a festival for he whose fasts Allah has accepted and whose prayers He has acknowledged, and every day in which we do not disobey Allah is a day of celebration.’

احْذَرْ أَنْ يَرَاكَ اللهُ عِنْدَ مَعْصِيَتِهِ، وَيَفْقِدَكَ عِنْدَ طَاعَتِهِ، فَتَكُونَ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ
Imam Ali (as):
Beware lest God see you where he is disobeyed and not find you where he is obeyed, or else you will be one of the losers.

إِنَّ اللهَ سُبْحَانَهُ وَضَعَ الثَّوَابَ عَلَى طَاعَتِهِ، وَالْعِقَابَ عَلَى مَعْصِيَتِهِ، ذِيَادَةً لِعِبَادِهِ عَنْ نِقْمَتِهِ، وَحِيَاشَةً لَهُمْ إلَى جَنِّتِهِ
Imam Ali (as):
God has promised reward for those who obey him and punishment for those who disobey him, in order to caution them against His Fire and tempt them toward His Garden.
