الإمام محمد الباقر (عليه السَّلام):
ما دَخَلَ قَلبَ امرِئٍ شي ءٌمِن الكِبرِ إلّا نَقَصَ مِن عَقلِهِ مِثلُ ما دَخَلَهُ مِن ذلكَ، قَلَّ ذلكَ أو كَثُرَ.
Cualquier cantidad de arrogancia que entre en el corazón de una persona, solo le traerá deficiencia al intelecto en la misma proporción de la cantidad de la que ingresó, ya sea un poco o mucho.
