The one who does not take account of himself every single day is not one of us. And when he performs a good deed, he should ask Allah to enable him to do more, and when he commits an evil deed, he must seek Allah s forgiveness and repent for it.

At the end of the day, Mohasibah means that a person should take account of their actions, evaluate the good and the bad, reprimand themselves if they have sinned, ask God for forgiveness, thank God for the good deeds they were able to perform, and ask God for more success in the days to come.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Take account of yourselves before you are taken to account." This spiritual training program brings a person out of negligence, drives them to repent for their wrongdoings, and encourages them to do good.

It is recommended that a person be strict when evaluating their actions, just as a partner would hold their partner accountable without showing leniency.

At the end of each day, it is crucial to review our performance and ask ourselves: What did we do today? How did we spend our time? Did we fulfill the rights of our fellow believers? What wealth did we acquire, and how did we spend it? Which Muslims did we help? Did we prevent any wrongdoings today? Most importantly, were our actions sincere?

Isḥāq al-Kulaynī Al-Rāzī (Arabic: ابوجعفر، محمّد بن یعقوب بن اسحاق الرازی) (c. 255/868-9 - 329/941) was among the greatest Shi'a hadith scholars and the author of al-Kafi, the most authentic Shi'a hadith collection and one the Four Books. He was born after the martyrdom of Imam al-'Askari (a), at the time of Imam al-Mahdi (a) and met some hadith transmitters who directly had heard hadiths from Imam al-Hadi (a) and Imam al-'Askari (a). It is said that al-Kulayni was very accurate in transmitting hadiths. Ibn Qulawayh, Muhammad b. Ali Majilawayh al-Qummi, Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Zurari were among his students.
