الإمام السّجاد (عليه السَّلام):
إِنَّ أَرْضَاكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَسْبَغُكُمْ عَلَى عِيَالِه‏

Imam al-Sajjad (as):
Verily the one whom Allah is most pleased with from among you is the one who is the most generous towards his dependents.

Imam al-Sajjad (as)

. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعْتَذِرُ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ مُسِي‏ءٍ اعْتَذَرَ إِلَيَّ فَلَمْ أَعْذِرْه‏

O Allah, I ask pardon from You for the evildoer who asked pardon from me and whom I did not pardon.

طُوبى‏ لِمَنْ طَابَ خُلُقُهُ‏، وَ طَهُرَتْ سَجِيَّتُهُ‏، وَ صَلَحَتْ سَرِيرَتُهُ، وَ حَسُنَتْ عَلَانِيَتُهُ، وَ أَنْفَقَ الْفَضْلَ مِنْ مَالِهِ، وَ أَمْسَكَ الْفَضْلَ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ، وَ أَنْصَفَ النَّاسَ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ.

إنّ الكريمَ يَبتَهِجُ بفَضلِهِ ، و اللَّئيمَ يَفتَخِرُ بمُلكِهِ

وَ أَمَّا حَقُّ جَارِكَ فَحِفْظُهُ غَائِباً وَ إِكْرَامُهُ شَاهِداً وَ نُصْرَتُهُ إِذْ كَانَ مَظْلُوماً وَ لَا تَتَبَّعْ لَهُ عَوْرَةً فَإِنْ عَلِمْتَ عَلَيْهِ سُوءاً سَتَرْتَهُ عَلَيْه .‏

The right of your neighbor is that you should protect him in his absence, and honor him when he is present, and help him when he is wronged....

فَحَقّ أُمّک فَأَنْ تَعْلَمَ أَنّهَا حَمَلَتْک حَیثُ لَا یحْمِلُ أَحَدٌ أَحَداً وَ أَطْعَمَتْک مِنْ ثَمَرَةِ قَلْبِهَا مَا لَا یطْعِمُ أَحَدٌ أَحَداً وَ أَنّهَا وَقَتْک بِسَمْعِهَا وَ بَصَرِهَا وَ یدِهَا وَ رِجْلِهَا وَ شَعْرِهَا وَ بَشَرِهَا وَ جَمِیعِ جَوَارِحِهَا مُسْتَبْشِرَةً بِذَلِک فَرِحَةً مُوَابِلَةً مُحْتَمِلَةً لِمَا فِیهِ مَکرُوهُهَا وَ أَلَمُهَا وَ ثِقْلُهَا وَ غَمّهَا حَتّی دَفَعَتْهَا عَنْک یدُ الْقُدْرَةِ وَ أَخْرَجَتْک إِلَی الْأَرْضِ فَرَضِیتْ أَنْ تَشْبَعَ وَ تَجُوعَ هِی وَ تَکسُوَک وَ تَعْرَی وَ تُرْوِیک وَ تَظْمَأَ وَ تُظِلّک وَ تَضْحَی وَ تُنَعّمَک بِبُؤْسِهَا وَ تُلَذّذَک بِالنّوْمِ بِأَرَقِهَا وَ کانَ بَطْنُهَا لَک وِعَاءً وَ حَجْرُهَا لَک حِوَاءً وَ ثَدْیهَا لَک سِقَاءً وَ نَفْسُهَا لَک وِقَاءً تُبَاشِرُ حَرّ الدّنْیا وَ بَرْدَهَا لَک وَ دُونَک فَتَشْکرُهَا عَلَی قَدْرِ ذَلِک وَ لَا تَقْدِرُ عَلَیهِ إِلّا بِعَوْنِ اللّهِ وَ تَوْفِیقِهِ.
