رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
حَقُّ المرأةِ على زَوجِها أن يَسُدَّ جَوعَتَها، وأن يَستُرَ عَورَتَها، ولا يُقَبِّحَ لَها وَجها.
The right of a woman on her husband is that he provides her with food and clothes, and does not frown his face at her (does not treat her with contempt).
