الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
وَ لتَكُن مَسألَتُكَ فيما يَعنِيكَ مِمّا يَبقى لَكَ جَمالُهُ وَ يُنفى عنكَ وَبالُهُ، وَ المالُ لا يَبقى لك وَ لا تَبقى لَهُ.
in his counsel to his son al-Hasan (as) said, Your request [from Allah] must be for such as will aid you of the things whose beauty and goodness will remain for you and whose evil consequences will not touch you, and wealth will neither remain for you, and nor will you remain for it.

Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. Shuʿba al-Ḥarrānī (Arabic: الحسن بن علی بن الحسین بن شعبه الحرَّانی) is a Shi'i hadith compiler. His major work on hadith is Tuhaf al-'uqul. There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
