Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

أكثِرُوا ذِكرَ اللّهِ ما استَطَعتُم في كُلِّ ساعةٍ مِن ساعاتِ الليلِ و النهارِ، فإنَّ اللّهَ أمَرَ بكَثرَةِ الذِكرِ لَهُ.

زَكَاةُ الْعِلْمِ أَنْ تُعَلِّمَهُ عِبَادَ اللَّهِ.

The zakat of knowledge is to teach it to Allah's servants.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

مَنْ سَرَّهُ أَنْ يُسْتَجَابَ‏ لَهُ‏ دَعْوَتُهُ، فَلْيُطِبْ‏ مَكْسَبَهُ‏ .

He who would like his supplication to be answered, must purify his earnings [earn his livelihood through lawful means].

تَواصَلوا و تَبارُّوا و تَراحَموا و تَعاطَفوا.

Maintain relations with one another, do good to one another, have mercy on one another and be compassionate to one another.

مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ وَ لَمْ‏ يَعْمَلْهَا، كُتِبَتْ لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ ؛ وَ مَنْ هَمَّ بِحَسَنَةٍ وَ عَمِلَهَا، كُتِبَتْ لَهُ‏ عَشْراً ؛ وَ مَنْ هَمَّ بِسَيِّئَةٍ وَ لَمْ يَعْمَلْهَا لَمْ تُكْتَبْ‏ عَلَيْهِ‏ ؛ وَ مَنْ هَمَّ بِهَا وَ عَمِلَهَا ، كُتِبَتْ عَلَيْهِ سَيِّئَةٌ.
