Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as)

إنّ الإيمانَ أفضَلُ من الإسلامِ ، و إنّ اليَقينَ أفضَلُ مِن الإيمانِ ، و ما مِن شيءٍ أعَزُّ مِن اليَقينِ .

Faith is better than submission [Islam] and conviction is better than faith, and there is nothing more honorable than conviction.

الحافِظُ للقرآنِ العامِلُ بهِ مَع السَّفَرَةِ الكِرامِ البَرَرَةِ.
