الإمام الحسن (عليه السَّلام):
الإمامُ الحسنُ عليه السلام لَمّا سَألَهُ أبوهُ عنِ الشُّحِّ: أن تَرى ما في يَدَيكَ شَرَفاً وما أنفَقتَ تَلَفاً.

When his father asked him about greed, said, [It is] when you count what is in your hands as a source of honor, while you count what you have given away as a waste.

There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
