الإمام السّجاد (عليه السَّلام):
                         وَ أَمَّا حَقُّ الصَّغِيرِ فَرَحْمَتُهُ وَ تَثْقِيفُهُ وَ تَعْلِيمُهُ وَ الْعَفْوُ عَنْهُ وَ السَّتْرُ عَلَيْهِ وَ الرِّفْقُ بِهِ وَ الْمَعُونَةُ لَهُ وَ السَّتْرُ عَلَى جَرَائِرِ حَدَاثَتِهِ فَإِنَّهُ سَبَبٌ لِلتَّوْبَةِ وَ الْمُدَارَاةُ لَهُ وَ تَرْكُ مُمَاحَكَتِهِ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَدْنَى لِرُشْدِه .
                        
                        
                        
                          The right of a youngster is that you should show mercy to him educate him well, teach him and pardon him, cover his faults and treat him gently, help him and conceal the offences of his young age [from others], for this will cause him to repent, you should also treat him amicably and avoid quarreling with him for that is more likely to rectify him.
