الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
مَنِ انتَظَرَ بمُعاجَلَةِ الفُرصَةِ مُؤاجَلةَ الاستِقصاءِ سَلَبَتهُ الأيّامُ فُرصَتَهُ؛ لأنّ مِن شَأنِ الأيّامِ السَّلبَ، وسَبيلُ الزَّمَنِ الفَوتُ.
Quienquiera que se detenga a pesar de la oportunidad fugaz, [alargando] su investigación sobre el asunto, los días [que pasan] le arrebatarán la oportunidad, porque es la naturaleza de los días arrebatar [oportunidades], así como es el camino [la naturaleza] del tiempo el pasar.

Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. Shuʿba al-Ḥarrānī (Arabic: الحسن بن علی بن الحسین بن شعبه الحرَّانی) is a Shi'i hadith compiler. His major work on hadith is Tuhaf al-'uqul. There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
