الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
الْإِخْوَانُ ثَلَاثَةٌ فَوَاحِدٌ كَالْغِذَاءِ الَّذِي يُحْتَاجُ إِلَيْهِ كُلَّ وَقْتٍ فَهُوَ الْعَاقِلُ وَ الثَّانِي فِي مَعْنَى الدَّاءِ وَ هُوَ الْأَحْمَقُ وَ الثَّالِثُ فِي مَعْنَى الدَّوَاءِ فَهُوَ اللَّبِيب .
دوستان انسان سه نوعند : یک ، دوستی که مانند غذا است ، که همیشه به او نیاز هست ، یعنی : دوست عاقل . دو ، دوستی که در حکم درد و بیماری است ، یعنی : دوست احمق . سه ، دوستی که در حکم دوا و درمان است ، یعنی: دوست دانا .

Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. Shuʿba al-Ḥarrānī (Arabic: الحسن بن علی بن الحسین بن شعبه الحرَّانی) is a Shi'i hadith compiler. His major work on hadith is Tuhaf al-'uqul. There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
