الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
أدَّبَني أبي عليه السلام بثلاثٍ ... قالَ لي: يا بُنيَّ مَن يَصْحَبْ صاحبَ السَّوْءِ لا يَسْلمْ، و مَن لا يُقيِّدْ ألفاظَهُ يَنْدَمْ، ومَن يدخُلْ مَداخِلَ السُّوءِ يُتَّهمْ.

My father (AS) refined my manners by three [statements]… He said to me : o son! A man who befriends a vile person cannot escape blame, and a man who does not restrain his words will live in regret, and a man who enters suspicious places will become subject to accusations.

Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. Shuʿba al-Ḥarrānī (Arabic: الحسن بن علی بن الحسین بن شعبه الحرَّانی) is a Shi'i hadith compiler. His major work on hadith is Tuhaf al-'uqul. There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
