الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
يَنْبَغِي لِلرَّجُلِ الْمُسْلِمِ أَنْ يَجْتَنِبَ مُوَاخَاةَ الْكَذَّابِ فَإِنَّهُ يَكْذِبُ حَتَّى يَجِيءَ بِالصِّدْقِ فَلَا يُصَدَّقُ .
No corresponde a un musulmán tomar a un mentiroso por hermano, ya que sigue mintiendo hasta el momento en que incluso sus verdaderas declaraciones son rechazadas.
