رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
إيَّاكُمْ وَ فُضُولَ المَطْعَمِ؛ فإنَّهُ يَسِمُ القَلْبَ بِالقَسوةِ، وَ يُبْطِئُ بِالجَوارِحِ عَنِ الطّاعَةِ، وَ يُصِمُّ الهِمَمَ عَنْ سَمَاعِ المَوْعِظَةِ.
Ten cuidado con la comida excesiva, ya que envenena el corazón con dureza, ralentiza las extremidades al realizar los actos de obediencia, y bloquea las almas de escuchar consejos.
