الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
إيّاكَ وَ الجَزَعَ؛ فإنّهُ يَقْطَعُ الأملَ، وَ يُضْعِفُ العملَ، وَ يُورِثُ الهَمَّ. وَ اعلَمْ أنَّ المَخْرَجَ في أمرَينِ: ما كانتْ فيهِ حِيلَةٌ فالاحْتِيالُ، وَ ما لَم تكُنْ فيهِ حِيلةٌ فالاصْطِبارُ.
Tengan cuidado con la ansiedad, ya que corta la esperanza, debilita la acción y trae congoja. Y sepan que la salida [de los problemas] radica en dos cosas: encontrar una solución [al problema] si es que tiene una, y tener paciencia cuando no haya una solución.
