الامام الحسین (علیه السلام):
لا تَتَكَلَّمَنَّ فيما لا يَعنيكَ فإنّي أخافُ علَيكَ الوِزرَ، ولا تَتكَلَّمَنَّ فيما يَعنيكَ حتّى تَرى لِلكلامِ مَوضِعا.
ابن عباس سے فرمایا: جو باتیں تمہیں فائدہ نہیں دیتیں انہیں بیان مت کرو، کیونکہ میں تمہارے لئے بوجھ سے ڈرتا ہوں، اور جو باتیں تمہیں فائدہ دیتی ہیں انہیں بھی بیان مت کرو یہاں تک کہ اس کی (مناسب) جگہ پا لو۔
