الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
أشكَرُ الناسِ أقنَعُهُم، وأكفَرُهُم لِلنِّعَمِ أجشَعُهُم.
The most thankful of people are the most content, and the most ungrateful for blessings are the greediest.
