Imam Ali (as):
You must get married, for verily the prophet said, ‘Whoever would like to follow my practice should know that marriage is a part of my practice.’

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
The Prophet (SAWA) said, 'O Allah! Have mercy on my successors.' He was asked, 'O Messenger of Allah! Who are your successors?' He said, 'Those who revive my practices, and then teach them to God's servants.'

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
You might think that the prophet spent three consecutive days having eaten to his full since the time Allah mandated him with prophethood until He seized his soul. No, by Allah, he was never satiated for three consecutive days eversince he was commissioned with prophethood until he was taken [to his Lord]. It was not because he did not have access to enough food; he would, sometimes, reward a person with one hundred camels; so had he wanted, he could have eaten.

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
When the Prophet (s) used to shake someone’s hand, he would never be the first to let go, until the other person let go of his hand.

Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (as):
Imam al-Baqir, speaking to Muhammad b. Muslim, said, 'O Muhammad, you might think that he [meaning the Prophet (SAWA)] filled himself by eating wheat bread for three consecutive days from the time Allah sent him until when He took him up?' He answered himself, saying, 'No, by Allah, he never filled himself with wheat bread for three consecutive days since the time Allah sent him until He took him [his soul]. I am not saying that he could not find any, for he would at times endow a single man with one hundred camels, so if he wanted to eat he could have done so.'

Imam Ja‘far al-Ṣadiq (as):
The Prophet (s) would divide his gazes equally among his companions, looking at one and looking at the other all with equality.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
Every act of worship is, at first, performed with ardor which later on subsides and cools down. So he whose ardent worship ends up in my Sunnah has found guidance whereas he who opposes my Sunnah falls astray and his act of worship proves futile. Indeed I pray, sleep, fast and then break my fast [at the time of the call to the evening prayer], laugh and cry, and whoever rejects my teachings and my Sunnah is not from me.

The Prophet Muhammad (S):
No speech holds any value unless it is accompanied by action, and the speech and action are worthless unless they are performed with a sincere intention, and the action and the intention are of no value unless they are according to the Sunnah [the prophetic practice].
