رسول الله (صلی الله علیه و آله):
العِلمُ خَزائنُ و مَفاتِيحُهُ السُّؤالُ، فَاسألُوا رَحِمَكُمُ اللّهُ فإنّهُ تُؤجَرُ أربَعةٌ: السائلُ، و المُتَكلِّمُ، و المُستَمِعُ، و المُحِبُّ لَهُم.
Le savoir est un trésor et sa clé réside dans la question. Dès lors, questionnez et Allah vous fera miséricorde, car en vérité, quatre types de personnes seront rétribuées [pour une telle question] : celle qui questionne, celle qui parle, celle qui écoute et celle qui les aime.

There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
