الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
أدَّبَني أبي عليه السلام بثلاثٍ ... قالَ لي: يا بُنيَّ مَن يَصْحَبْ صاحبَ السَّوْءِ لا يَسْلمْ، و مَن لا يُقيِّدْ ألفاظَهُ يَنْدَمْ، ومَن يدخُلْ مَداخِلَ السُّوءِ يُتَّهمْ.
Mi padre (P) refinó mis modales diciéndome tres [declaraciones]... Me dijo: ¡Oh hijo! Un hombre que se hace amigo de una persona vil no puede escapar de la culpa, y un hombre que no refrena sus palabras vivirá arrepentido, y un hombre que entra en lugares sospechosos será objeto de acusaciones.

Al-Ḥasan b. ʿAlī b. al-Ḥusayn b. Shuʿba al-Ḥarrānī (Arabic: الحسن بن علی بن الحسین بن شعبه الحرَّانی) is a Shi'i hadith compiler. His major work on hadith is Tuhaf al-'uqul. There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
