:
القُلوبُ ما لم تَخرِقْها الشَّهَواتُ ويُدَنِّسْها الطَّمَعُ ويُقْسِها النَّعيمُ فَسوفَ تَكونُ أوعيَةً للحِكمَةِ.
دل ها تا زمانى كه شهوات آنها را از هم ندريده و طمع، آلوده شان نساخته و خوشى و نعمت سختشان نكرده باشد، مى توانند ظرفى [مناسب ] براى حكمت باشند.

There are two works attributed to al-Harrani; al-Tamhis and Tuhaf al-'uqul fi ma ja' min al-hikam wa l-mawa'iz min Al al-Rasul.
