الإمام علي (عليه السَّلام):
الدَّهْرُ يَوْمَانِ يَوْمٌ لَكَ وَ يَوْمٌ عَلَيْكَ فَإِنْ كَانَ لَكَ فَلَا تَبْطَرْ وَ إِنْ كَانَ عَلَيْكَ فَلَا تَضْجَر .
La vida en este mundo consta de dos días: uno a tu favor y otro en tu contra, así que cuando esté a tu favor no te enaltezcas con orgullo, y cuando esté en tu contra no te entristezcas.
