الإمام جعفر الصادق (عليه السَّلام ):
إِذَا أَصْبَحْتَ وَ أَمْسَيْتَ، فَقُلْ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ:" اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَتْ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ عَافِيَةٍ فِي دِينٍ أَوْ دُنْيَا، فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَاشَرِيكَ لَكَ، لَكَ الْحَمْدُ، وَ لَكَ الشُّكْرُ بِهَا عَلَيَّ يَا رَبِّ حَتّى تَرْضى، وَ بَعْدَ الرِّضَا" فَإِنَّكَ إِذَا قُلْتَ ذلِكَ، كُنْتَ قَدْ أَدَّيْتَ شُكْرَ مَا أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ بِهِ عَلَيْكَ فِي ذلِكَ الْيَوْمِ، وَ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ.
When you wake up in the morning and before you go to sleep at night say ten times: "O Allah, whatever blessings I have been given or the soundness of my religion and the well being of my worldly life are all from You, You are One, with no partner, and all praise is due to You, and I must thank you for all that until You are pleased and even after You are pleased." And once you have said this, you have thanked Allah for the blessings He has given you on that day and its night.

Abū Jaʿfar, Muḥammad b. Yaʿqūb b. Isḥāq al-Kulaynī Al-Rāzī (Arabic: ابوجعفر، محمّد بن یعقوب بن اسحاق الرازی) (c. 255/868-9 - 329/941) was among the greatest Shi'a hadith scholars and the author of al-Kafi, the most authentic Shi'a hadith collection and one the Four Books. He was born after the martyrdom of Imam al-'Askari (a), at the time of Imam al-Mahdi (a) and met some hadith transmitters who directly had heard hadiths from Imam al-Hadi (a) and Imam al-'Askari (a). It is said that al-Kulayni was very accurate in transmitting hadiths. Ibn Qulawayh, Muhammad b. Ali Majilawayh al-Qummi, Ahmad b. Muhammad al-Zurari were among his students.
